The School Council is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair, in the school library: Tuesday April 5 to Thursday April 7

With final sales happening during the Empire Science Night being held the evening of April 7.

The fair is open to students, and to parents, and will be staffed by parent volunteers for the following times:

Tuesday April 5                  Wednesday April 6

2 pm to 4:30 pm                   8:30 am to 10 am and 2 pm to 4:30 pm

Thursday April 7

2 pm to 3:20 pm and 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm (as part of the Science Night being held 6 pm to 8 pm)

Students can make purchases with cash only during second nutrition break or during a visit scheduled by their teacher. Grades 4-6 also may visit the book fair before or after school with verbal permission from their parents.  Parents can make purchases during school time, and before and after school.  Please enter at the front door.  Cash, cheque, debit and credit available.  Book price range is about $5 to $20, tax included.  A small selection of French books will be available.  Bookmarks, posters and small stationary items, also will be available.   Please consider purchasing a book for the Classroom Wish List program. See this link for a sample of books available.  http://www.scholastic.ca/bookfairs/featuredbooks1.php  The fair is to raise money to pay for the free Family Science Night (Thursday April 7, 6-8 pm) and to bring affordable books to Empire students.
