Today students at Empire Public School particiated in the 7th Annual Terry Fox Day. Students donated to help raise money for the Terry Fox Foundation which funds cancer research. Students eagerly counted their laps as they walked and ran a loop on the school yard. Way to go Empire Eagles!

Meet the Teacher

Empire’s Meet the Teacher Evening is coming up on Thursday, September 12. From 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. will be our community pizza mix and mingle. From 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., classrooms will be open for parents to meet their child’s teacher.

Students at Empire enjoyed a very thought provoking assembly featuring Jamie Allison today. Jamie is a former NHL player who shared some great thoughts about bullying. Non-bus students will exit at the end of the day through the doors where their class lines up to enter. Please either meet your son/daughter at that door or make arrangements for another meeting spot.
