Students at Empire enjoyed a very thought provoking assembly featuring Jamie Allison today. Jamie is a former NHL player who shared some great thoughts about bullying. Non-bus students will exit at the end of the day through the doors where their class lines up to enter. Please either meet your son/daughter at that door or make arrangements for another meeting spot.

Mr. Weigel is heading up a School Council Committee to develop plans for a new Kindergarten play area. Construction continues on our new double gym and five new kindergarten classrooms. Driving by the corner of Alexandra and Empire brings into view changes almost on a daily basis. Staff, students and parents alike are excitedly looking forward to walking into our new wing in September.
