School Council is very excited to announce our upcoming Move-a-Thon on Friday, March 11th.  During the school day each class will be given the opportunity to go to the gym and “move to the music” played by a professional DJ.

The Move-a-Thon is a school fundraiser.  We are asking students to help raise money to support special events that take place at Empire throughout the year such as field trips, science nights, the JUMP program and movie nights. Pledge forms went home last week.

In order to make the Move-a-Thon a rousing success, we are in need of volunteers on Friday, March 11th. Are you available anytime Friday during the day (9:30 – 3:30) to count the cash the students have raised for the move-a-thon? If so, please call and let the school know, or email our School Council chair.
