Dear Empire Families,
We are eaglerly anticipating the return of our in-person learners on September 7th.
This fall, we have significant construction around our school, with Alexandra Ave. remaining CLOSED to vehicle traffic. This requires our buses to be re-routed and will impact the space available for parking on both Douglas, Stanley and Empire Streets. Please see the attached map for GREEN areas that are available for vehicle parking. We encourage all our families if possible, to walk, wheel or bike to school instead of coming in a personal vehicle. If you must drive, we encourage you to park a safe distance from the school in the designated green areas, and walk from there.
Waterloo City By-Law will be present this month to enforce the no stopping and no parking zones. Please be respectful of all signage. We also want to remind our families that the school parking lot is for STAFF ONLY.
