Each year on the first Monday in May, we celebrate music education from coast to coast to coast with the Music Monday Song! Music Monday is an annual initiative that brings together thousands of students, musicians, parents and community members across the country to celebrate the power of music in our lives, on the same day at the same time. It is organized by the Coalition for Music Education and is a huge celebration all across Canada.
This year, the Music Monday song is called Sing It Together and here at Empire we will continue our annual tradition of gathering on the front lawn of the school to sign to the neighbourhood!
