Every year, School Council supports different initiatives at Empire PS. This year we would like to purchase some new equipment for each class, such as technology (iPads, Chromebooks, data projectors), recess equipment for each class (e.g. balls, skipping ropes, hoola hoops, chalk) and to support amazing school events such as One Book-One School, the Grade 6 JUMP trip, and our upcoming Sports Night.
If you are considering purchasing a gift for a family member (who already has everything) or for your child’s classroom teacher(s), please consider making a donation to Empire P.S. All you have to do is make a donation to the school and we will send you a card that states a donation has been made in your name.
Donations will be processed once a week throughout December. The last day to donate is Dec. 21st.
Please look for the letter coming home with your child in the next couple of days, which provides more details on how to make a donation. A PDF version is also linked at the bottom of this post.
