Hello Empire community!
We are the amazingly creative engineering people of P2. In math, we’ve been exploring 3D objects – their names, faces, edges and vertices. We can measure a 3D object’s height, width and depth.
During the first week of April, we brought recycled boxes and clean, re-usable items to school to utilize and built a cool 3D city. We also included 3D shape nets, paper, tape and string as stable building materials.
Our 3D city, Derwood, is an urban centre with a suburban neighbourhood. It includes and variety of restaurants and stores, a police station and prison, two hospitals, a church, a mosque, a temple and a park. It also includes a robot factory, a sports stadium, a hotel, two schools and many apartment buildings and houses. There is a construction crane located at the south-eastern edge of our city.
We encourage you to visit our city, Derwood, because there are many job opportunities for you, and it’s a beautiful city to live in!
We’re looking forward to seeing you soon!
