The Empire PS Council is looking for a parent (or group of parents) with strong event planning skills to chair this year’s Fun Fair, which will take place on June 14th. These volunteers would be responsible for organizing & executing Fun Fair, which includes: decoration, food, games, prizes, advertising, and ticket sales. They would also be responsible for coordinating volunteers to help with the Fun Fair and pre & post event set-up & tear down. The Silent Auction (which runs concurrently with the Fun Fair) has two parent chairs already. This position is strictly for the Fun Fair piece. Attendance at Council meetings is NOT required. This is a great opportunity if you have been looking for a one-time, project based way to get involved at Empire PS.
