Children born in 2009 and 2010 can be registered for our kindergarten program at Empire Public School.
Registration will take place at Empire on Tuesday, February 11. Parents need to call the office to set up an appointment (519 – 742-8375).
The Elementary Student Registration Form must be completed and brought with the following documentation to register students in
Kindergarten:
- Immunization Records
- Proof of Age e.g. birth certificate, baptismal certificate, passport
- Documentation of Canadian Citizenship Status if the student was born outside of Canada
- Proof of Address e.g. a copy of residence property tax bill or a utility bill containing parent/guardian name and address of residence or a copy of offer to purchase a residence or a copy of lease/rental agreement for a residence
Empire has the full day kindergarten program where students attend every day all day. The classes have a teacher and an early childhood educator, who work as a team. There is a before and after school program at Empire. Costs of the program are covered by parent fees with subsidies being available based on need and eligibility.
