We hope all our Empire families are enjoying every last minute of the summer holidays.  We are working hard here at the school to get ready to welcome all the Eagle students to a great year of learning together.  Please note that our class lists will be posted on Friday, September 1 after 4:30pm on the front windows of the school and will remain there until school starts.

On September 5, our first day of school, we will gather at the back of the school to start our day.  We encourage parents and caregivers to help their children find their appropriate teacher by looking for the large sign with their teachers’ name, and lining up at their “class” pylon.  Goodbyes will happen outside, and then teachers will bring their classes into the school to start their day!  Parents and caregivers can meet their children outside again at the end of the day.

In the event of rain or inclement weather, we will follow the same procedure in the gym and library- and will share this information using our PA system.  

We welcome students and parents to our official “Meet the Teacher” Night on Wednesday, September 13 from 6-7:30 pm.  Our School Council has invited several food trucks to our school beginning at 5 pm.  Please bring chairs or a blanket if you plan to picnic on site.  Our doors will open to meet families at 6pm.  We are all looking forward to a great start to the 2017-2018 school year for all our Empire Eagles!
