Room’s 11 Snowman Soup fundraiser was a HUGE success. The students raised $1618 to donate to ROOF, a local charity that brings the homeless in from the cold. On Tuesday December 17th a representative from ROOF will visit the students in room 11.

After devising a business plan, selling their “pitch” to the principal with their persuasive skills, the students managed to make well over 1800 bags of Snowman Soup. The classroom assembly line went smooth and students were excited to be making a difference for others. The Snowman Soup campaign integrated several areas of learning for the students in room 11. They participated in authentic learning activities based on their real life experience.
